Puerto Rican Parade of Fairfield County – Calendar of Events

Celebrating Tradition, Community & Heritage

Our Calendar of Events highlights all official celebrations leading up to and including Parade Weekend. From our Annual Gala to the Flag Raising Ceremony and the Grand Parade, each event reflects our culture, community pride, and Boricua heritage. We invite you to join us and celebrate all weekend long.

Pageant Practice Information

Every Wednesday night

Pageant practices are held at the Bridgeport YMCA on Wednesday nights 📍 850 Park Avenue, Bridgeport 🕕 6:00 PM  Please note that practices are closed to participants only. Parents are asked to drop off and pick up their contestants promptly at the scheduled times.  Thank you for your cooperation and support as our participants prepare for Pageant Night.

Sunday, March 15, 2026 

📍 1313 Connecticut Avenue, Bridgeport

🌸 Dress Code: Brunch chic / tea party style

💗 Donation: $25

Annual Gala

July 10

 Kick off the festivities with an elegant evening at Tashua Knolls, located at 40 Tashua Knolls Lane, Trumbull, CT 06611. This celebration brings together supporters and friends for a night of connection, community, and celebration ahead of parade weekend.  Ticket sales will open soon.

Flag Raising Ceremony

July 11

 Proudly raise the Puerto Rican flag at Bridgeport City Hall (45 Lyon Terrace, Bridgeport, CT). This meaningful ceremony honors our heritage and unity as a community. Time TBD.

Puerto Rican Parade & Festival

July 12

🕚 Parade begins at 11:00 AM
The parade starts at Central High School, travels down Park Avenue, and concludes at Seaside Park.

🎶 Festival begins at 1:00 PM at Seaside Park
Stay for music, food, entertainment, and family-friendly fun as we continue the celebration by the water!
