Flag Raising Ceremony
Saturday, July 12, 2025 at 1:00 PM
Join us for a heartfelt moment as we begin our celebrations with the raising of the Puerto Rican flag in honor of our late Parade President, Frankie “Wepa” Colón. His family will lead this tribute, lifting the bandera that represents our unity, strength, and pride.
This ceremony is coordinated by Carmen Colón, our Flag Raising Coordinator.

Unidad Boricua: Nuestra Fuerza, Nuestro Destino!
The Puerto Rican Parade kicks off at Central High School (1 Lincoln Blvd, Bridgeport, CT 06606) and winds through the streets, ending at the Seaside Park Band Shell on 1 Barnum Dyke.
This vibrant procession is a celebration of cultura Boricua with colorful floats, infectious music, and orgullo Boricua that unites us all.
Come support as we honor our heritage! Join the march, cheer us on, and celebrate in unity and pride—¡vamos a celebrar!

The Puerto Rican Festival begins at 1 PM at the Seaside Park Band Shell on 1 Barnum Dyke, Bridgeport, CT. Celebrate Unidad Boricua with a fiesta of sabor Boricua featuring amazing artists, live music, food trucks, vendors, and more!
Bring your family, savor delicious comida, and immerse yourself in a day of rhythm, alegría, and Boricua pride. ¡Viva la cultura!
